Current Projects
Monash AllianceRead how this $1 billion upgrade will revolutionise traffic flow along a key economic route and improve safety on the Victoria’s busiest freeway.
The upgrade is the result of a partnership between the Victorian Government and Transurban, the owner and operator of CityLink and includes adding an additional lane in each direction on the Monash Freeway combined with the introduction of a new intelligent freeway management system.
Preliminary design works have started on all sections of the project, with construction due to start late this year. The entire project is due for completion in late 2010.
